Yields1 Serving
6 Ears of Corn - or as many sweet corn ears as you want.
 Melted Salted Butter
Salt, Chili powder, Parmesan Cheese , Pepper ( Try different combinations – experiment)
1

Set up the Bar B Q for direct heat with some real wood – Mesquite/Hickory is best – One two three ouch again test – place shucked cobs on the grill over the coals turning every minute or so. If you miss some of the tassel, the coals should burn them off. Charring on the kernels is to be expected. When all sides are charred a little remove from the pit (7 to 12 minutes depending on the heat and the cobs)
Baste the cobs with the melted butter apply your seasoning. I am old fashioned just give me some salt and dripping butter. Salt and pepper is good, Salt pepper Parmesan is good, for a little South Texas favor try it with a lite sprinkle of Chili powder and Goat Cheese.
If you hate getting the kernels stuck in your teeth (wimp) use a thin sharp blood free knife to cut the grilled kernels from the cob.

BONUS TIP: - Just wrap some bacon around and go MEATY style
